Organising an expo or conference takes months. The event itself lasts only a few days. A good video helps that effort keep paying back.
What an event video can do
- Promote next year's event — show the energy to future visitors.
- Thank and attract sponsors — show their brands in action.
- Sell exhibition space — prove the crowd was real.
- Grow social media — short clips for weeks after the event.
How to plan it
- Agree the purpose. Promotion, sponsorship or highlights?
- Make a shot list. Opening, keynotes, exhibition floor, demos, people.
- Plan short interviews. Three questions, 20 seconds each.
- Capture sound. Speeches and interviews need good microphones.
- Plan the versions. A one-minute highlight, short social clips and a longer recap.
Example: Asia Smart Farming & Food Security
We produced a one-minute event video profile for Asia's pesticide-free smart farming and food security expo, and built the expo's website in English and Bahasa Melayu.
