Privacy Notice (PDPA)

This Privacy Notice explains how Ighna ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, discloses and protects your personal data in accordance with Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA) and other applicable laws, including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 where it applies.

1. Personal data we collect

When you contact us, submit an enquiry or engage our services, we may collect:

your name, company name, email address, phone number and country;
the service you are interested in, your project budget range and the project details you share;
correspondence with us; and
technical information such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, collected through server logs and, where enabled, analytics tools.

2. Purposes

We process your personal data to:

respond to your enquiry and communicate with you about it;
prepare proposals and deliver the services you engage us for;
manage our relationship with you, including billing and administration;
improve our website and services; and
comply with legal and regulatory obligations.

We will not use your personal data for unrelated direct marketing without your consent, and you may opt out at any time.

3. Disclosure

We may disclose your personal data to our team in Malaysia and India, to service providers who help us operate (for example hosting, email and analytics providers) under appropriate confidentiality obligations, to professional advisers, and to authorities where required by law. We do not sell your personal data.

4. Transfer outside Malaysia

Because we operate in Malaysia and India and use service providers that may host data in other countries, your personal data may be transferred outside Malaysia. Where this happens we take reasonable steps to ensure it receives a comparable level of protection, as required by the PDPA.

5. Security and retention

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect personal data. We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes above or as required by law, after which it is deleted or anonymised.

6. Your rights

Subject to the PDPA, you may request access to and correction of your personal data, withdraw consent, and limit processing, including for direct marketing. We may charge a fee permitted by law for access requests and will respond within the statutory timeframe.

7. Is supplying data obligatory?

Fields marked as required in our forms are necessary for us to respond to your enquiry. If you do not provide them, we may be unable to assist you.

8. Cookies

Our website uses only the cookies needed for it to function and, where enabled, analytics cookies that help us understand how the site is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
